This Policy explains how The NYC Life Coach collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, schedule a consultation, subscribe to communications, or engage our services.
Plain-language notice: This Policy is designed to explain our practices clearly. It does not replace any additional confidentiality, payment, or data-handling terms contained in a signed coaching or corporate-services agreement.

This Privacy Policy applies to The NYC Life Coach (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the website at thenyclifecoach.com (the “Site”), and personal information we receive in connection with inquiries, consultations, coaching services, events, newsletters, and related business communications.
For purposes of applicable privacy law, The NYC Life Coach is the business or data controller responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. This Policy does not govern websites, platforms, or services operated independently by third parties.
Using the Site does not by itself constitute consent to every form of data processing. Where consent is legally required—such as for certain non-essential cookies or marketing communications—we request it separately.

- IP address, browser, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, timestamps, approximate location, and similar activity data.
- Service-related information

We do not ask you to submit Social Security numbers, account passwords, banking credentials, medical records, or emergency information through general website forms. Please do not use this Site to transmit information that is unnecessary for your inquiry.

- Schedule consultations, coaching sessions, events, and related communications.
- Provide, administer, personalize, and support coaching and corporate services.

Email, telephone, and text communications
If you subscribe to receive insights or promotional email, we may send information about coaching, leadership, career strategy, resilience, performance, events, or company updates. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary administrative or service-related communications.
If you provide a telephone number in connection with an inquiry or appointment, we may use it to respond to your request, coordinate scheduling, or communicate about services. We do not send marketing text messages without any consent required by applicable law. Message and data rates may apply.
Coaching and sensitive information
During a consultation or coaching relationship, you may voluntarily share information about professional circumstances, goals, relationships, personal experiences, wellness, or other matters. We use this information to provide the services you request and handle it in accordance with this Policy and any applicable coaching agreement.
Important: The NYC Life Coach provides coaching and is not a medical, psychiatric, psychological, or emergency service. Do not use website forms, email, or coaching communications for emergencies, crisis support, medical records, or information that should be sent through a regulated healthcare channel.
We do not publish client names, testimonials, case details, photographs, or identifying coaching information without appropriate permission or another lawful basis.
Retention and security
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, comply with tax or legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect our rights. Retention periods vary according to the type of information, the relationship involved, provider settings, and legal requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, or securely retain it when deletion is not technically feasible or is legally restricted.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration and do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Where applicable law requires a response to a recognized Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat that signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending it. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We use verification information only for that purpose. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions, and we will respond within the period required by law.
International visitors and transfers
The NYC Life Coach is based in the United States. If you access the Site or engage our services from another country, personal information may be transferred to, processed in, or stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
